Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has reportedly told the Anfield club that he is keen on leaving England and making the move to Saudi Arabia.

According to journalist Rudy Galetti, the Egyptian forward has reportedly told Liverpool that he wants the move to Saudi side Al-Ittihad before the transfer window slams shut.

The Saudi Pro League transfer window doesn’t close until the 23rd of September so the Saudi side have more than enough time to sign the former Chelsea forward.

Liverpool will need to hurry up and decide if the forward is staying or going this summer with the transfer window for the European sides closing on the 1st of September.

Jurgen Klopp’s side would need to find a replacement for Salah which wouldn’t be easy with just five days remaining before the transfer window slams shut.

What are the chances of Salah moving

The chances of the Egyptian forward moving seemed minimal with Klopp saying that the forward was not for sale but there are still murmurings of Salah’s willingness to depart Anfield this summer.

According to the tweet from Galetti, Salah and Liverpool have a massive offer on the table from the Saudi side managed by Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Saudi side have already added Fabinho to their squad after the Brazilian midfielder joined the club for a fee in the region of £40 million.

Were Salah to make the move, too, then it is possible that the Saudi side could line up with a front three of Karim Benzema, Jota, and Salah, it would be a deadly front three.

There is a deadline for the Saudi side to complete the deal with the 28th of August being the deadline before a deal is off.

The fee for Salah may well be near the £100 million mark which would be a huge outlay for the Saudi side.
