Al-Ittihad are keen on the signing of Mohamed Salah this summer and the Saudi side are keen on offering big money for the Liverpool forward.
With just two days left before the transfer window in England slams shut, Al-Ittihad will have to get a move on if they are to sign the Egyptian.
There has seemingly been a debate ongoing about whether Liverpool should sell their star man and recoup a huge amount of money for the Egyptian.
Earlier this month, Salah’s agent – Ramy Abbas Issa – insisted that the Egypt international is “committed” to Liverpool.
He tweeted: “If we considered leaving LFC this year, we wouldn’t have renewed the contract last summer. Mohamed remains committed to LFC.”
Despite this, interest has remained and Salah provided a timely reminder of just why he is one of the Premier League’s best players with his assist for Darwin Nunez during the stunning 2-1 comeback victory against Newcastle United.

Simon Jordan’s reaction
Speaking on TalkSport, the former Crystal Palace owner has given his thoughts about what Liverpool should do with the Egyptian winger after the reported nine-figure sum was offered to them.
“It (Al-Ittihad’s offer) gives you a decision to make,” Jordan said speaking on TalkSport. “If you get that kind of dough you’ve got to think about it. You get it once & once only!”
The Saudi side could well be the only option for Salah moving forward and if the former Chelsea winger stays at Anfield, the Saudi side would come back in but at a lower price.
Al-Ittihad may have a huge advantage if Salah stays with Liverpool likely to demand a lot less than what the Saudi side are currently offering for the Egyptian.
It promises to be an interesting saga.
