Everton are reportedly showing an interest in Al-Ittihad player Jota as the Portuguese winger’s future remains up in the air.
The winger only joined the Saudi side this summer but is already seemingly on the chopping block due to the rules on signing players overseas.
Al-Ittihad have started the season very well as they bid to retain their Saudi Pro League title but will face competition from Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.
Jota looks set to be allowed to leave the Saudi side on a free as they are keen to get rid of the £25 million winger at all costs and it has emerged that Sean Dyche’s side would be keen on signing the winger.
He followed in the footsteps of Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante after starring at Celtic, where he scored 15 goals in all competitions last season but the move has not worked out the way he would have liked.

Spurs interest
According to 90 min, if Jota is available on a free transfer, then Tottenham would also interested in pursuing a deal, with Everton being linked with the wideman.
The winger played under Ange Postecoglou at Celtic, with the Spurs boss signing him for Celtic during his managerial spell. The 58-year-old is keen on bringing Jota to Spurs.
However, the Saudi Pro League side could hold onto him and sanction a transfer in January so they can recoup some of his fee.
After Spurs failed to sign the former Celtic winger in the summer, Postecoglou turned to Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest in a transfer worth £47.5 million.
He’s played two games for his new side this season, with Postecoglou starting him against Arsenal last month.
Everton are said to be keeping a ‘watchful eye’ on proceedings moving forward.
