Kevin De Buryne has been linked with a shock big-money move to Al-Ittihad as the Saudi side eye up another huge move following the signing of Fabinho, Karim Benzema and N’golo Kante.

De Bruyne, who has been at Manchester City since 2015, is the next star to be linked with the Saudi side. Were they to pull off the signing of the Belgian international, you’d expect the Saudi side to retain their Pro League title.

According to The Mirror, not only are the Saudi side interested in Mohamed Salah, by offering €60 million a season for the Egyptian winger but they are also interested in the City midfielder.

After signing some of the Premier League’s top talents, now City and other English clubs are bracing themselves for more disruption to their squads as the state-backed league has money to burn meaning no player in Europe is out of reach.

Would De Bruyne be interested in a move?

After Salah seemingly turned down the Saudi side, De Bruyne is the next target but, having just helped City win the treble, it seems unlikely that the Belgian would make the move.

The former Chelsea midfielder would be silly to make the move to Saudi Arabia at a time in his career when he is at the peak of his powers, especially with an international tournament around the corner for the Belgian, especially when it could potentially be the last international tournament of his career.

This is continuing a trend of the best Premier League players being linked with a move to the Middle East, were De Bruyne make the move to the Saudi side he would instantly become the best player in the division.

A midfield three of Fabinho, Kante, and De Bruyne would be arguably the best midfield three and having that level of quality in the Saudi League can only be a benefit.
