Liverpool are reportedly braced for one final attempt from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad to sign their star man, Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Saudi side to link up with Karim Benzema, among others.
Al-Ittihad saw a deadline day bid for Salah, believed to be in the region of £100 million plus add-ons according to The Athletic, instantly rejected by Jurgen Klopp’s side.
With the deadline in England, and indeed most of Europe, having now passed, it seems unlikely that the Saudi giants could tempt Liverpool to sell their prized asset.
According to a report from the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool will resist any attempts made by the Saudi side to sign the former Chelsea winger.
Salah is a Premier League legend and it seems the winger will remain in England, despite being reportedly keen on a move to the Middle Eastern side.

Liverpool’s stance
According to the same report, Liverpool have always insisted, both publicly and privately, that Salah is not for sale but that hasn’t deterred the Saudi club who are now preparing one last push for the Reds’ No.11 before their own deadline on Thursday, September 7.
There had been some confusion about when the transfer window actually ends in the Pro League.
With reports stating that the transfer window shuts on the 20th of September but, according to the report, it is the 7th of September that the window closes.
Some believe that today represents the final day that the Saudi side can negotiate a deal to sign the forward, despite the window closing in over 48 hours.
Liverpool, however, have no interest in facilitating that interest and will refuse any offers for the 31-year-old.
